Sanele’s Success Story With Personal Computers Began..

What Challenged Me In 1995…

I was employed at Unilever South Africa and underwent training in preparation for a Junior Management position from a process plant operator level. I was privileged of being trained to use a personal computer.

Those years computers came loaded with Windows 95 operating system an upgraded version from DOS . I was very impressed with complex executions computers could produce.

Came 1996, I purchased my first custom built machine. My main goal was to introduce my son to pc’s at an early age. I did not have any plans to train him handle complex programs but just to let him get used to the computer world.

That year, I was in the process of reading Bill Gates newly published book called “The Road Ahead”. It was about when, how, where he co-founded the Microsoft Company and where the computer age was heading.

Fastfoward 2013, Sanele sells a customized personal computer online for  R 1,000. And guess what? The buyer that responded positively to his ad on Gumtree. The buyer came and picked up the PC himself from our residence.

The buyer did not just end by buying but hired Sanele’s services and employed him as his IT technician.

We are in 2016 as I scribe this article and Sanele has set up his eCommerce website online and is selling brand new digital computer gadgets.
